What will my donation help accomplish?

We need your help to bridge the civilian-military divide by creating a new conversation in America, so that veterans and military families are perceived as leaders and civic assets. Your donation does NOT pay our race entry fees.  Your donation does NOT pay for our training or race gear.  Your donation does NOT buy us beer, milkshakes, coffee, fish tacos, or any other deliciousness (but if you’d like to buy us a round, join us on the racecourse and we’ll celebrate afterwards!).  Your donation goes directly to Got Your 6.

Every penny donated supports the work of the six pillars of the Got Your 6 campaign.  100% of all donations made online—free from any overhead or administrative expenses—are distributed to the nonprofit organizations that lead the six pillars of the Got Your 6 campaign.  No portion is ever retained for overhead or administrative expenses.

Who is Race For Vets?

Race For Vets is at the forefront of fundraising for the Got Your 6 campaign.  Jeffrey Paul, founder of Race For Vets, has a unique passion for competitive racing and supporting veterans and their families.  He is the primary competitor and fundraiser behind Race For Vets, but would graciously accept any and all participants will to join the effort.  If you’re interested, please contact us to let us know!

How does Race For Vets cover operating costs?

The annual operating budget of the Race For Vets campaign is underwritten through the generous support of its founder, Jeffrey Paul.  Website costs, race entry fees, training and race gear, and other items are personally covered so as not to negatively impact donations to Got Your 6.

Can I receive a tax-deductible receipt?

We are unable to directly offer you a tax-deductible receipt for this project, but your donation is sent directly to Got Your 6.  Got Your 6 is a campaign of Be The Change, Inc.—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under federal tax guidelines.  Donations made to Got Your 6 are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
